Here's a look at a selection of the projects we completed in 2011. These sites were all designed, built, and launched by the Brown Wing Studio, unless otherwise noted. Logos were pre-existing, except where noted.

Leah Pitka Portraiture
We love working for artists, and this was a great opportunity to build a simple but distinctive site for a local portrait artist. Feature an integrated contact form and image gallery, this was a great project to work on.

Stone Nation
We are quite pleased to roll out the first phase of a larger project. This client came to me with big ideas, and we worked out what can be done now, what will have to be done later and how we can get interest generated in the meantime. This site is built on concrete5, and includes multiple areas where experts can post content, as well as a MailChimp newsletter sign up integrated into the footer, and an online application.

I was fortunate enough to work with a very talented team of designers at Source Media of Cedar Rapids on this fantastic project. They needed someone who could build the site they'd designed. They wanted a CMS, so I chose to build on concrete5. Some features of the site include a home-page slider, several gallery pages, two pages that import blog feeds, and a CSA purchase page.

I Am An Old Horned Toad
We needed a site to showcase a children's book. This one page slider site includes a sample of the song and storefront.

Merikén Metals
An up and coming jewelry studio needed a slick little site that could be up fast and easy to update. We took their existing blogger account and hacked around a bit, turning it into a tidy web presence with an integrated store and inquiries form.

Tortolita Gutpluckers
A redesign of an older web-presence, this custom HTML provides a platform for this Bluegrass band to share some of their music and publicity and allow fans to connect with them via a contact form or their facebook page.
